Dage Park is located on Longshan in the north of Kaili City. On the top of Longshan Mountain, there is Kuixing Pavilion, also known as Wenchang Pavilion, commonly known as "Great Pavilion", hence the name of the park.
The Great Pavilion was first built in the fourth year of Qianlong in the Qing Dynasty (AD 1739). It used to be a school palace and an examination hall, and it was a place to cultivate and select talents. The attic has five floors and is 23 meters high. It has six columns and six corners inside and outside, and cornices and angles. It is carved with various patterns of flowers, birds and animals, which is exquisite, elegant and beautiful. The second, third, and fourth floors of the attic are surrounded by corridors, and the handrails can circle upwards.
