The Ordos Grassland Tourist Area is a national 4A tourist attraction, located 9 kilometers southwest of Xini Town, Hangjin Banner, Ordos City, Inner Mongolia. It is a large-scale grassland leisure and vacation destination in the central and western parts of Inner Mongolia. As one of the most beautiful grasslands in China, the Ordos Grassland has its unique style. Its attraction is its unique natural scenery. At the same time, there are large areas of grasslands and deserts, as well as thousands of large and small lakes.
The tourist area has a grassland with a viewing area of about 30 square kilometers. The core area is a yurt group composed of a Mongolian golden tent and more than 300 yurts. The tourist area is mainly divided into six functional areas: comprehensive service area, automobile camp area, folk culture experience area, grassland leisure and entertainment area, grassland leisure resort area, and grassland ecological sightseeing area.
When you come here, you can experience horse riding and archery, listen to the melodious and heroic long tunes of ancient songs and the magical Mongolian singing art of Humai, watch the Ordos wedding, visit herdsmen, sacrifice obo, and taste fried rice, milk tea and hand-held meat. As well as grassland gourmets such as roasted whole sheep and deceitful horse banquets, you can appreciate the primitive and simple folk customs deep in the grassland.
