Huaishu Cave Scenic Area is located in Nanshuangmiao Township, Chaoyang County, 28 kilometers south of Chaoyang City, at the foot of Baishan Mountain, 1.3 kilometers west of Chaoqing Road, with an area of 57 square kilometers. There were buildings in Huaishu Cave in the Sui and Tang Dynasties, and it was particularly prosperous in the Liao Dynasty. During the Jin and Yuan Dynasties, many tourists from Jinzhou, Xingcheng and other places came here for sightseeing and summer vacation. In the Qing Dynasty, there were large-scale construction and reconstruction of temples, and the incense was very prosperous. There are temples and pagodas in the scenic area, there are many forests with water, the climate is pleasant, and there are many mountains and rocks; the spring water is cool and delicious, known as "the holy water of the dragon". In addition, there is a stone pagoda built in the Liao Dynasty in the scenic area, which is exquisite and unique, and is a municipal cultural relic protection unit. The temple is "Yongquan Temple", which was built in the Liao Dynasty. "Huashu Cave Natural Scenic Area" is an excellent summer resort in Chaoyang City. In the mountains, peaches, plums, apricots, mulberries, pines, cypresses, elm poplars, pagoda trees chamfer, and ancient trees are luxuriant. It is amazing that there are several ancient locust trees over 300 years old in the temple. Covering the sun like a big umbrella canopy, it is magnificent, and this is where the name of Huaishu Cave comes from.
