It takes about 30 minutes by boat from the shore to arrive at Bird Island. However, due to the protection of birds, you are not allowed to go to the island. There are several restaurants on the banks of Pangong Tso Lake. The main gimmick is the special Schizothorax in the lake. However, due to the protection of the environment and species, it is not recommended to eat it. If you don't want to dine by the lake, you can return to Ritu County for about half an hour by car.
