Panshan Mountain is located on the west side of Jixian County, and is a famous mountain in Beijing and Tianjin. There are many strange pines, strange rocks and flowing water on the mountain, and with different heights, three layers of scenery appear in sequence, becoming the famous "three pans" wonderland. Because of the beautiful scenery, Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty visited Panshan Mountain 32 times, and he also sighed, "If I knew there was Panshan Mountain, why go to the south of the Yangtze River?"

Although Panshan belongs to Tianjin City, it is actually closer to downtown Beijing than to downtown Tianjin. When holidays come, tourists from around Beijing and Tianjin rush to play, and there are more people. There are two cableways in the front mountain: Rusheng Cableway (Shanmen-Wansong Temple), 60 yuan one way, can go up to the halfway up the mountain; Yunsong Cableway (Wansong Temple-Yunzhao Temple), 60 yuan one way, from the halfway up the mountainside to Guaiyue The Yunzhao Temple under the peak is very close to the top of the mountain. There is a Panshan sightseeing car and a hanging moon cableway in the back mountain. The two are packaged and sold for 100 yuan one way. After taking the sightseeing car and cableway in turn, you can climb a short distance to reach the top of the mountain.

The highest peak on the plate is only 864.4 meters above sea level, but if you hike the whole way, you will have to walk about 30 kilometers. Although the mountain is not high, you have to climb several hills, which is very tiring. A more reasonable arrangement is to take a sightseeing car from the back mountain and hang the moon cableway directly to the top of the mountain, and then walk down from the front mountain. It is about 12 kilometers from the front mountain to the gate of the mountain.

Hanging Moon Peak: After climbing to the top of the mountain with a sightseeing car and cableway, you can see the Dingguang Buddha Stupa, which is a stone pagoda and the symbol of the top of the mountain. At the beginning of the descent, if you have good physical strength, you can choose to climb Zilai Peak, the second highest peak of Panshan Mountain at the fork in the road; if you want to save energy or have limited time, you can go all the way down the mountain.

Peak-Wansong Temple: Go down to Wansong Temple, the largest temple in Panshan (formerly known as Li Jing'an, where Li Jing, a famous general in the early Tang Dynasty, once lived here), via the highest temple in Panshan, Yunzhao Temple, Nantianmen, General Stone and other scenic spots. This section is the road passed by the Yunsong cableway. There are many dirt roads on foot, the road is not easy to walk, and there are few scenic spots, but you can see the majestic natural scenery, rolling mountains, and white clouds dotted in the blue sky. You can have a panoramic view of the strange pines and the strange rocks in Zhongpan.

Wansong Temple-Shanmen: This section is the road passed by the Shengsheng cableway. The road is easy to walk, with concentrated scenic spots and many cultural attractions, and you can see the scenery of Xiapanshuisheng. Walk down the mountain and pass the tower forest composed of 99 tomb towers of eminent monks of different dynasties; the place where Qianlong's substitute monk became a monk - Tiancheng Temple, there is a Woyun Tower in the east of the temple gate, and there is a small stage at the foot of the opposite building , Qianlong once watched operas here. Going forward, you can see Shu Gorge, one of the representative scenic spots in Xiapan Shuisheng. A waterfall-like strand of silk floats down into the pool, bringing a refreshing feeling. Going on, you will come across a stone that looks like an ingot - an ingot gem. It is said that touching it can bring wealth. When you see the stone with the word "Rusheng" written by Rong Lu, Minister of Military Affairs and Governor of Zhili in the late Qing Dynasty, it means that you are not far from the mountain gate.

In March and April every year, Panshan will hold a temple fair. At that time, you can see the scene performance of "Qianlong Tour Panshan", which reproduces the grand occasion of Qianlong's parade in the past.
