This is the first paper building in Taiwan, China, and the first building transported from overseas. In 1995, architect Shigeru Ban built a lightweight paper church to commemorate the great earthquake in Japan. Ten years later, this paper church was transported to the Taomi Community in Puli, the disaster-stricken area of the September 21 earthquake. In addition to the paper church, there are also wetland parks, paddling pools, etc. in the park. You can stay overnight in the homestay run by the villagers, and you can also taste local delicacies in the restaurant. The scenery will be even better at night!
