In the beautiful Songpan, lavender covering an area of more than 3,000 mu is blooming one after another, forming a sea of purple flowers, known as the "Provence" of the plateau.
Since late May this year, in Chuanzhusi Town, Songpan County, at an altitude of 3,000 meters, lavender has been blooming one after another. Compared with last year’s scale of more than 400 mu, this year’s lavender has expanded to more than 3,000 mu, and will enter full-scale in July-August. The blooming period lasts up to 4 months. The sea of purple flowers comparable to Provence is undoubtedly a unique scenery on the Ninth Ring Road, attracting tourists to stop and take pictures.
