Penglai River is located in the southwest of Nanzhuang, Miaoli County, Taiwan. It is the first stream in Miaoli County to put fish protection into practice. In recent years, it has become a favorite route for tourists to watch fish and go outing. The fish viewing trail is about 2.4 kilometers in length. Stones and wooden trestles are laid on the banks of the stream for tourists to walk on. There are patrol teams to remind and persuade tourists who are active in the stream.
