Dashi Gorge is located in Pengyang County, with a total length of about 36 kilometers. The rock formations belong to the Cretaceous period, about 170 million years ago, and the canyon belongs to the Quaternary landform, about 2 million years ago. The rocks in the canyon are mostly layered, sometimes wide and sometimes narrow, and the cool breeze passes through them.
