Petrified Wood-Dinosaur National Geological Park is located in Jiangjun Gobi, 150km north of Qitai County, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. In March 2004, the Ministry of Land and Resources approved it as the third batch of national geological parks, mainly focusing on paleontological fossils and geological and geomorphic relics. Nearly a thousand petrified trees are exposed in the long and narrow gully area of 5km long and 2.33km wide. The age of the tree generally ranges from hundreds to thousands of years, the diameter is about lm, the largest one can exceed 2m, and the length varies. Colorful burnt rock area.
