Phoenix Square is the square in front of the memorial hall, covering an area of 27,000 square meters. In the middle of the square stands the bronze statue of Mao Zedong. There are precious flowers and plants such as pine, cypress, peony, rose, pagoda japonica and other precious flowers and trees in the surrounding flower beds.
