Fenghuangling, formerly known as Gufengling, is located in the southeast of the main peak of Zhuyu Peak, and is the same ticket gate as Zhuyu Peak. After the ticket check, turn right and you will be on the way to Fenghuang Ridge. Visiting Fenghuangling can be from south to north, and along the way you will pass Wangxiangtai, Xianque, Xianwu Peak, Wangqintai, Yuntai Temple, Chongyang Pavilion, Phoenix Tree, Zhenwu Feisheng, Wangxianyuan and other scenic spots.
There are two thousand-year-old maple trees on the ridge, one planted on the slope and the other growing down the slope, about 30 meters apart, and the crown height is about 17 meters. The strange thing is that these two trees grow opposite each other, and the male and female depend on each other. They are known as the "Maple King" and "Maple Queen". According to legend, they were transformed by a pair of phoenixes, and the name of Fenghuangling comes from this. The two ancient maple trees belong to the pentagonal maple. They are verdant in spring and summer, and their red leaves are like fire in autumn.
On the cliffs of Fenghuangling stands a building named "Chongyang Pavilion". The pavilion is four stories high, with white walls and black eaves. This pavilion was built in memory of Wang Wei, a great poet of the Tang Dynasty.
