Pingtang National Geopark is located in Guizhou Province. Soluble carbonate rocks are widely distributed in the park, and karst landforms account for 80% of the total area of the region. There are mainly four types of peak forest basins, peak cluster depressions, peak forest depressions and peak cluster funnels. The topography and topography have formed many valuable geological landscapes. These geological formations are traces of tectonic movements in metamorphic rocks in different periods, and have important scientific research value for the history of geological development in the study area.
