Pingyuan Ancient Town, Zhijin County, Bijie City, Guizhou Province, referred to as "Zhijin Pingyuan Ancient Town" or "Pingyuan Ancient Town", was rated as the "Top Ten New Landmarks of Guizhou Tourism" at the 2019 Guizhou Provincial Tourism Development Conference and ranked second. It got its name because Zhijin was called "Pingyuan" in ancient times. As a part of Zhijin Ancient City, Pingyuan Ancient Town is seamlessly connected with Zhijin Ancient City.
