Pingcuolin Temple is located in Pingcuolin Township, Lazi County, Shigatse, at an altitude of 4,100 meters. It was built in 1615 by Doronata. The monastery originally believed in the Juelang sect,VNgawang Lobsang GyatsoDuring the ruling period, the temple was one of the 13 temples for conversion, so it believed in the Gelug Sect.

The temple used to have 35 halls and a chanting hall, 3300 monks, and built 94 9-story Dayelata bedrooms on the top of the temple. There are a large number of precious old murals and gold-plated copper Buddha statues in the temple, such as Shengwei King Kong, Kalachakra King, Shengle King Kong and so on.

There are four treasures in Pingcuolin Monastery: one is the walking stick of Tubuwa Xiraojianzan, about 1 meter long; the other is the walking stick of Dayelata, which is said to be a gift from the Mongolians. Wen, dragon, etc., about 1.2 meters long; the third is the Dharma cymbal of Doronata, which is said to be able to relieve the sea of ​​suffering; the fourth is a pair of gemstones, one shaped like an egg, white in color, with naturally formed mantras and cymbals on it. The Yongzhong pattern, the other is shaped like an almond with a white line on it.

Every year on December 27 of the Tibetan calendar, the temple holds the Tiaoshen Festival, and on October 8 of the Tibetan calendar, a ceremony of worshiping Tara is held.
