Puyou Temple is an affiliated temple of Puning Temple. It was built in the 25th year of Qianlong in Qing Dynasty and once housed four schools. But what is worth seeing in the temple is the 500 statues of Arhats, with different expressions and great artistic value (only 176 remain).

It is not only a school of scriptures for studying Buddhist classics and theories, but also an important place for religious activities. The Buddha statues enshrined in the temple are also different from other temples. There are Chinese style and Tibetan style. It is a unique temple among the eight outer temples.
