Qiachuan Scenic Area, located about 20 kilometers away from Heyang County, Weinan City, is the largest riverside hot spring lake-type wetland in the Yellow River Basin. The scenery here is excellent, the birds are singing and the flowers are fragrant, there are also large reed marshes, vast green hills and hot springs. Qiachuan Scenic Area is a large concept of scenic spots, including several scenic spots such as Virgin Spring, Xiayang, Soul of the Yellow River, Fushan, etc. Tickets are charged separately for several scenic spots. The scenic spot has the largest reed marsh and the largest wetland protection area in the Yellow River Basin, where more than a hundred species of national first- and second-level protected animals such as white swans, red-crowned cranes, black storks, and great bustards inhabit.
Virgin Spring is the most unique scenic spot in the scenic area and one of the most important sub-scenic spots in the scenic area. Virgin Spring, also known as Dongliquan and Fuyu Spring, is located in the Ludang of Qiachuan Scenic Area. In ancient times, women in Qiachuan had to be accompanied by their sisters to this spring to bathe and purify themselves before they got married, so it was named Virgin Spring. Maiden Spring is actually a group of springs with countless springs of different sizes.
In the scenic area, tourists can also take a speedboat, a cruise ship, or ride a horse across the reeds. At present, the transportation to the scenic area is not very convenient, and the internal traffic in the scenic area is also constantly being improved.
