Qianhu National Wetland Park is located in the middle reaches of the Qianhe Valley in Qianyang County, Baoji City, Shaanxi Province. It was built on the basis of the wetland resources in the upper reaches of the largest Fengjiashan Reservoir in Shaanxi Province, with a total area of 573.2 hectares. Qianhu National Wetland Park is mainly based on the characteristics of river wetlands, integrating the characteristics of river wetlands, pond wetlands, and swamp wetlands. It is a typical wetland on the Loess Plateau in Northwest my country. At the same time, wetland parks are wetland landscapes with significant or special ecological, cultural, aesthetic and biological diversity values, with remarkable ecological characteristics. Taking wetland landscape as the main body, it integrates wetland landscape and cultural landscape and has ecological, scientific, educational, leisure, other natural landscape and historical and cultural values. The county has invested tens of millions of yuan to build tourist attractions such as the Wetland Aquatic Botanical Garden, the Gateway Area, the Bird Watching Area, the Qinfeng Folk Custom Garden and the Zhifang Bay Scenic Area in the Wetland Park, receiving more than 100,000 tourists a year. It is praised by tourists as "model wetland, humanistic paradise, and health paradise". In 2011, Qianhu was named a National Wetland Park by the State Forestry Administration, becoming the first national wetland park in Shaanxi Province.
