Qianlongyuan is formed by the undercurrent of Tianchi Lake, the water surface is like a full moon, the water is clear and deep, surrounded by spruce trees. Whenever the bright moon is in the sky, the still shadows are heavy and the jade is quiet and ancient. It is one of the eight scenic spots in Tianchi, "Longtan Biyue". On the side of Qianlongyuan entering the water, there is a curtain of silver waterfall flying, spewing pearls and splashing jade, which is called "Yutan Silver Curtain". There is a small stream under the waterfall, which is deep and quiet, just like a boudoir. Legend has it that it is the place where the queen mother washes up, and it is called "dressing stream". Going south along the trail, at the place where the undercurrent overflows, the water flow hangs along the steep mountain. "It is suspected that the Milky Way falls to the nine heavens", so it is named "Nine Heavens Milky Way". On the platform more than 200 meters above the lake in the southeast of the pool, there is the site of Pangzhenren Temple in the Qing Dynasty.
