The Qianxinan Prefecture Library was first built in 1986, with a designed collection of 500,000 volumes. It was officially opened on December 23, 1988. At present, there are more than 40,000 volumes of Chinese books, about 100 kinds of newspapers, more than 100 kinds of periodicals, and nearly 100 kinds of children's books. There are editing and editing room, curator's room, office, borrowing office, newspaper reading room, periodical room, local literature room, periodical room, children's room and audiobook room, etc.
