The Qing Dynasty Examination Museum in Pucheng is located in Chengguan Town, Pucheng County, Weinan City, next to the Memorial Hall of General Yang Hucheng. The Examination Museum of the Qing Dynasty was built in the 17th year of Guangxu in the Qing Dynasty. It is the only well-preserved place in Shaanxi Province for the scientific examination of children.

The museum faces south from the north, and the existing buildings along the central axis from south to north include more than 30 houses, including the main hall, the second gate, the corridor, the east and west halls, the official hall, the lecture hall, the bathroom yard, the east and west wing rooms, the inner room, and the ear room. There are 3 halls in the entrance hall of the Examination Institute. The two vermilion lacquer gates are more than ten feet high, and they are installed on the drum-shaped gate pier, which is of extraordinary momentum. Enter the second door and come to the narrow courtyard corridor. On both sides of the corridor are 24 symmetrical rooms, which are the places where Wen Sheng took the exams in the past.

Lunxiu hall is the place where examiners announce laws and regulations to examinees, mark papers, hold meetings, discuss matters, and take exams. The wing room is the place where the staff of the examination institute live; the inner room is the "Xingyuan" for receiving the superiors. The official hall is a place for the examiners to take a break during the exam, also known as the "lounge". The bathroom courtyard is a place for candidates to bathe. All candidates should bathe and change clothes here before taking the exam, and change into exam uniforms to prevent candidates from carrying materials and cheat sheets.
