Qinggeda Lake Tourist Scenic Area is located 3 kilometers south of Wujiaqu City and 32 kilometers away from Urumqi, the capital of the autonomous region. The scenic spot covers an area of 36 square kilometers, including 17 square kilometers of water surface, 10 square kilometers of wetland and various characteristics. The cultural landscape is a national AAAA-level scenic spot, a national youth green home demonstration site, and a provincial wetland nature reserve. Qinghu Scenic Area is also an important red tourism education base of the Corps.
