Qinghai Lake Fairy Bay Scenic Spot is located on the north shore of Qinghai Lake, integrating plateau wetlands, lakes and mountains, sea festivals, Tibetan customs, myths and legends. Fairy Bay Scenic Area is the hometown of whooper swan, a national second-class protected animal. Thousands of whooper swans inhabit here in autumn and winter.

Li Shangyin, a poet of the Tang Dynasty, once wrote a poem, "Auntie of Yaochi opens the window, and the singing of yellow bamboo moves to mourn." This poem tells us that the Queen Mother of the West has not been able to wait for the arrival of her sweetheart. Here, it adds a bit of aura to Qinghai Lake in winter. And the name of Fairy Bay comes from this.

From June to October every year, the Fairy Bay Wetland blooms flowers of different colors in different seasons, forming a sea of flowers, just like a carpet woven by nature.
