Qingyun Lake National Forest Park is an open forest park located in Duyun City, east of Wenfeng Park. It was first built in February 2000 and was approved as a National Forest Park by the State Forestry Administration on December 23, 2005. It is an urban back garden integrating forest landscape, water landscape and ethnic customs and other landscape resources. The total area of the park is 3188 hectares. It is composed of three major scenic spots: Qingyun Lake, Shimen Lake and Screw Shell Alpine Meadow. The entire scenic spot is covered by forests. The rate is above 90%. The natural secondary forest in the park has a large area and diverse species. There are more than a thousand species of vascular plants. Hazy autumn leaves are picturesque, and Yushu Qiongzhi in mid-winter is crystal clear. It is the forest belt around the city of Duyun, the green corridor, and the natural lung lobes.
