The Mausoleum of Qin Shihuang is located in the suburbs of Xi'an. It is the mausoleum of Qin Shihuang Yingzheng, the first emperor in Chinese history. It is famous for its grand scale among the mausoleums of Chinese emperors. At present, the imperial mausoleum has not been excavated, and you can wander around the mausoleum and think about the past.

death as life
The imperial mausoleum was built from 246 BC to 208 BC, which lasted 39 years. The imperial mausoleum embodies the etiquette system of "death is like life". It was built in full imitation of the layout of Xianyang, the capital of Qin State at that time. There are two layers of rammed earth walls inside and outside, symbolizing the imperial city and palace city of Xianyang, the capital. The mausoleum (that is, the big sealed mound, the tomb of Qin Shihuang) is located in the south of the inner city. It is in the shape of a bucket and is about 50 meters high.

After more than two thousand years of vicissitudes, the main relic on the ground of the imperial mausoleum is only the mausoleum as tall as a mountain. At present, the outline of the city wall is outlined by planting plant belts in the scenic area, as well as eye-catching signs and signs, so that tourists can understand the direction, scope and location of the city wall at that time.

so far undiscovered
Due to the constraints of existing scientific and technological conditions, the underground palace of Qin Shihuang's Mausoleum has not yet been excavated. According to legend, in the underground palace of the first emperor, all kinds of precious stones are used as the sun, moon and stars, gold and jade are used as mountains and rivers, mercury is used as rivers, lakes and seas, and sharks in the South China Sea are used to refine oil into lamps, which will last for thousands of years.

Tourists can also visit the Baixi Terracotta Pit (also known as the 9901 Burial Pit) in the southeast and the Civil Official Terracotta Pit (also known as the 0006 Burial Pit) on the southwest side of the sealed mound in the imperial mausoleum.
