Qiong Guojie is in the shape of an eight-petal lotus flower, and the image of a wishful Dharma wheel appears in the sky. It is a wonderful land of blessings. It is said that 13 kinds of auspicious flowers once bloomed in the grassland here, and there are also three holy rivers and four sacred mountains intersecting here. Qiongguojie Temple was built by Gendung Gyatso II in 1509 and expanded by the fifth emperor. The temple is now in ruins, but its glory in those days can still be seen from the broken walls. It takes about 4-5 hours to go to the holy lake on foot or on horseback.
