The spring water of Qixingtan gushes from Qilin Cave to the main gate of the park, forming seven pools, which are named after the Big Dipper. Xuantan, Tianshutan. The willow well and Baixiang spring beside the pool are clear and sweet; the willow cages are smoked on the pool, and the arched bridges are carved with railings; the lotus in the pool is in full bloom, and fish are playing. Monk Chisong Zeng Yong wrote in a poem: "That is the secluded stream in Tanshan, and the smoke and the moon reach the front stream."
In 2003, Qixingtan revetment, water features, vegetation and forestry were rebuilt on a large scale, and the construction of roads, squares and rest facilities was increased to highlight openness, affinity and appreciation. It forms a landscape painting scroll of green peaks and clear streams, mountain springs and waterfalls, jagged rocks, verdant forests, dots of mountain flowers, deep valleys with birdsong, secluded streams of apes, rock formations, and scenery in all seasons in Qixingtan Scenic Area.
