Qushui Bridge is located on the West Yarlung Zangbo River in Qushui County, Tibet. Starting from Lhasa, drive about 60 kilometers southwest along the Lhasa River to Qushui Bridge. Cross the bridge and drive eastward along the Yarlung Zangbo River for about 40 kilometers to Gongga Airport, and turn right to the road to Yamdrok Yongcuo. Qushui Bridge is an important transportation hub with a very strategic position. It is the main throat from Lhasa to Gonggar Airport.

The famous 318 National Highway passes through the north of the bridge, and the east section leads directly to the Sichuan-Tibet Highway and the Yunnan-Tibet Highway. West via Shigatse, go south to Zhangmu Port to reach Kathmandu, Nepal, that is, China-Nepal Highway and Xinjiang-Tibet Highway. The north is connected to the Qinghai-Tibet Highway through Duilongdeqing County, the east end is the Gongze Highway to connect with 318 through Linzhi Bayi Town, and the west passes through Gyantse to the south and exits through Yadong to connect to Gangtok in Sikkim. It can be said that all important highways in Tibet must pass through the Qushui Bridge. Therefore, the bridge is heavily guarded and there are no street lights on the bridge. At night, passing vehicles are not allowed to turn on their headlights.
