Liwubi Island is located on the south-central side of Lugu Lake and is a well-known small island in Lugu Lake. The island is lush with trees, there are many rhododendrons and wild cherry trees, and there is also Wubi Temple, a Tibetan Buddhist temple, which is a popular place for viewing and worshiping Buddha.

Liwubi Island usually departs from Daluoshui Wharf, and it takes about 20 minutes to arrive by boat. The boat fare can be negotiated, and the round-trip fee is usually around 30-50 yuan. After going to the island, follow a path to the top of the island, and you can look around the lake with beautiful scenery. The temples and white pagodas on the island are full of incense, and every Tibetan festival and Buddhist festival, local people will come to pray and pay homage.
