Norbulingka, which means treasure garden, has a large number of relics and treasures. There are more than 300 houses in the garden, which is a large-scale and extremely exquisite garden in the history of Tibet. Norbulingka has a beautiful environment, with many types and quantities of plants and flowers, shaded by trees, like a "paradise" in Lhasa.

Norbulingka is about 1 kilometer long and 500 meters wide, so you can walk around it. The park is divided into three areas, which are the former park with the entrance attic in the east, the core palace area in the middle, and the golden linka area in the west that is dominated by plant jungles.

Front Park

The trees in the garden are very dense, and there are more than 100 kinds of plants, including rare flowers from all over Tibet, even the inland and foreign countries. It is called "Plateau Botanical Garden". As soon as you enter the park, thick and tall trees appear in front of you, covering up the internal buildings, and only the wide stone road under your feet leads people forward. Because there are not many tourists, the garden has a rare sense of tranquility. The sunlight leaks through the thick leaves and sprinkles on the stone slabs, which is very quiet. The flowers on both sides are varied and colorful. The scenery is very rare in Lhasa.

core palace area

Among them, the palaces were also carefully built in those years. The buildings are mainly in the Tibetan style with golden roofs and red and white walls. Most of the layouts are built along the water. There is a small lake in the middle of the garden. Walking into the lake pavilion in the middle of the water, you can see towering ancient trees and fragrant grass everywhere. The layout of the surrounding pavilions, waterside pavilions, and corridors complement each other. The exquisiteness makes people feel as if they have come to Suzhou gardens. It is very beautiful. .

Buddhist halls, scripture halls, Dharma guardian shrines, etc. have a strong religious atmosphere, and the Buddha statues, thangkas, murals, etc. in them are either brilliant or rich, and they are all art treasures. At the same time, because of the help of the Minister in Tibet, there are many Chinese-style artworks similar to the murals with the theme of "Fu Lu Shou Xi", which is novel. The park also displays the gifts presented by the heads of state, each with its own characteristics, and it is worth visiting.

In addition to infrastructure and Buddhist halls, there are radios, shower facilities and other items here.

In addition, in addition to a variety of plants, there is also a zoo in the garden. There are many kinds of animals, including many rare species such as snow leopards, which can be seen.
