Ruicheng Ancient Cultural Site Group is the collective name of many ancient sites in Ruicheng County. There are many ancient cultural sites in Ruicheng, and it is one of the important ancient cultural sites for studying the early Pleistocene, Paleolithic to late Longshan culture in the Yellow River Basin in my country.
11 stone tool sites have been excavated here, and among the dozens of paleontological fossils unearthed, 53% are absolutely genus animals, and 100% are extinct animals. The unearthed cultural relics include various relatively complete stone tool combinations of the Paleolithic Age and Neolithic Age, as well as various pottery combinations of Yangshao Culture and Longshan Culture. The ruins include house foundations, kiln pits, ash pits, tombs, etc.
The main sites in Ruicheng County include the Yihe site, the Potou site, the Jinshengzhuang site, the Dongzhuang site, the Xiwangcun site, and the ancient Weicheng site.
