Sanla Waterfall is located near Sanla Village, 20 kilometers east of Babao Town, Guangnan County, Wenshan Prefecture. The Zhuang language of Sanla means the place where three rivers and streams converge. It was called Xiangquan Waterfall in ancient times.
Babao Sanla Waterfall was called Xiangquan Waterfall in ancient times. The Babao River runs through the re-selected mountains and flows here, pouring down from the top of the cliff more than 10 meters wide, with a three-level drop of 120 meters. The waterfall is turbulent and roars loudly. Due to the situation of the mountain, the waterfall falls in three stages. The first and second waterfalls are narrow and the water is turbulent, while the third is wider with a drop of more than 40 meters. In summer, the torrent of the waterfall bursts out wildly, while in winter the waterfall looks like a white practice hanging down into the sky.
