Sanqing Pavilion was originally the summer resort of Yuan Liang King. After the rise of Taoist temples, it gradually developed into a nine-story and eleven-story embedded building complex. For example, if you climb up the stairs from Longmen Village under the cliff, you can look up at more than 1,000 winding stone steps, passing through the ancient cypresses and entering the clouds to get to the Arhat Cliff. Its terrain shape is really incredible. From the perspective of the landscape, the Huating Pavilion is deep and the Taihua is majestic, while the Sanqing Pavilion and Longmen win with their dangers and oddities. In terms of religion, the Second Taihua Temple in Huating is a Buddhist jungle, while Sanqing Pavilion is mainly a Taoist temple. The three realms of Yuqing, Shangqing, and Tianqing are collectively called "Sanqing", referring to the high fairyland where Taoist gods live. Therefore, most of the temples built by Taoists are named after Sanqing. The name of "Sanqing Pavilion" in Xishan, Kunming also comes from this.
