Sanyong Lake is located in Longfeng District, Daqing City, adjacent to Wanfeng Road in the south, Century Avenue in the north, Wanbao Road in the west and Wanbao Community. Sanyong Lake was originally called Sanyong Pao, but it was renamed Sanyong Lake in 2000. It is a naturally formed lake in the shape of a basket. In the process of building a natural, modern and livable city in Daqing, Sanyong Lake has become a leisure spot for Daqing people.
In the core area of Sanyong Lake, there are three "Chinese Knots" with a height of 31.6 meters and a width of 20 meters, implying "Yongkang, Yongle, and Yongfu". This sculpture is based on the "Chinese Knot" and is built with a tower-like steel structure.
