Milk Sea, also known as Luorongcuo, is located in the depression at the foot of Yangmai Yongshen Mountain. It is a small ancient glacial lake shaped like water droplets. Surrounded by snow-capped mountains, the lake is clear and blue, and the lake is surrounded by a circle of milky white, so it is called Milk Sea.
Milk Sea is one of the holy lakes in the Yading area, located at the foot of Yongshen Mountain in Yangmai, with an altitude of 4,600 meters. Milk Sea Lake has different depths. The shore near the lake is slightly black due to the long-term plant precipitation at the bottom of the lake. Some of it is light green in the inner part, and the deep green water surface is translucent blue. The sun shone on the still lake, and the water shone like jewels.
It is about 4.5 kilometers from Luorong Niuchang to Milk Sea. There is no battery car in the scenic spot, so you can only go on foot or rent a horse from the caravan of Luorong Niuchang. It takes about 2-3 hours to ride a horse back and forth, and the cost is about 300 yuan. The hike is a bit slower, about 3-4 hours. Due to the high altitude, please make your own discretion according to your personal physical condition.

1. The road from Luorong Cattle Farm to Milk Sea is relatively rugged, and part of the road requires tourists to dismount and walk on foot, which has high physical requirements for tourists. It is recommended to pack lightly and prepare necessary dry food and water.
2. The sea of milk is about 4600 meters above sea level, the temperature is low, and the mountain wind is strong, so you need to be prepared to keep warm.
3. You can reach the Five Colors Sea by walking up from Milk Sea for about half an hour. It is recommended that you must visit it if you have enough physical strength.
4. There are no trash cans in the mountains, tourists should prepare trash bags to protect the environment of the scenic spot.
