The Seda Grassland has a vast area, and goes up along the Sequ River. On both sides of the river, there are hundreds of grass ditches with rich pastures and wild flowers of various colors, and undulating ridges, extending from east to west. In the meantime, there are black yaks and white sheep that flow like musical notes, and soft pastoral songs that are sometimes blown by the wind like clouds.

Legend has it that on this grassland, people once discovered gold in the shape of a "horse head", and later generations named it "Seda" (meaning golden horse) for blessings. It is also said that it was obtained from the war horse left by Gesar. It was named "Golden Horse", and a unique gold culture emerged. At the same time, the county is also rich in gold. It is said that if all the gold in the grasslands of the county is mined, a golden horse can be cast. Because of the above, Seda County is dubbed the "Hometown of Gold".
