Boutiao Mountain is located in the east of the Big Stone Forest and the south of the Small Stone Forest, bounded by East Huanlin Road in the scenic spot. It was named after Zhao Fa, the leader of the Shilin Yi People's Rebel Army in the late Qing Dynasty, once stationed on this mountain and set up sentries to patrol the mountain.
