Shaanxi Art Museum, formerly known as Shaanxi Artists Gallery, is located on the East Street outside the Bell Tower and is one of the top ten art museums in China. The art museum has seven floors, including six above ground and one basement, with 5 large exhibition halls, 4 small exhibition halls and 1 conference hall.
Since the establishment of the museum, more than 600 exhibitions of calligraphy and painting have been held, such as "The Sixth National Art Exhibition", "Soviet Oil Painting Exhibition", "Modern Painting Exhibition" in Poland and Sweden, "Guo Yuanzhu Landscape Painting Exhibition" in South Korea, " Yu Youren Calligraphy Exhibition", etc.
In addition to holding various art exhibitions, the art museum also has Meiyi Gallery, Meiyi Auction House, and Art Training Department. Various forms of art lectures are often held here. In addition to seeing all kinds of excellent calligraphy and painting works, you can also listen to lectures and cultivate your sentiments.
