Shaanxi Zhouzhilaoxiancheng Nature Reserve has the overall goal of protecting wild animals and their habitats, mainly giant pandas, and maintaining biodiversity and ecosystem integrity. The total area is 12611 hectares, the terrain is high in the southeast and low in the northwest, with an altitude of 1524 (Qinglongzhai)-2904 meters (Luban Peak).
