From June to July every summer, Huang carp in Qinghai Lake swim upstream. They gather in dense groups and migrate upstream to the Shaliu River, Buha River and Quanji River in Gangcha to fertilize and ovulate. The Tibetans who have lived here for generations have a saying that "riding horses and wading through the water trampled fish to death", which shows that there are many fish swimming in the river. In addition, Salix saliva on both sides of the river is full of branches, red flowers and green leaves, and the mountains and plains are full of colorful colors, embellishing the mountains and fields in colorful colors, which is really charming.

There are two bridges on the river, the new bridge of Shaliu River in the north, the old bridge in the south, and the fish viewing corridor in the south of the old bridge. The hillside on the river bank is called Guishou Mountain, which looks like a turtle when viewed from the north. On the stone cliff next to the old bridge, there is a place called Lover's Cliff. Lover's Cliff has been located beside the Old Bridge of Shaliu River in the south of Gangcha City since ancient times, as if willing to carry the emotional weight that young lives cannot bear.
