Shangli Ancient Town is located in Yucheng District, Ya'an City. The town is surrounded by mountains and rivers. Visitors can appreciate many Ming and Qing style buildings on stilts that have been preserved to this day.

The ancient town of Shangli was named "Luosheng" at the beginning. It was an important station on the ancient Linqiong Road of the Southern Silk Road entering Ya'an in history. .
