Shanxi Bronze Museum is a branch of Shanxi Museum. It is located on the cultural island of Changfeng Cultural Business District with beautiful scenery. It shares five connected and independent red elliptical inverted cone buildings with Taiyuan Museum. It is a landmark building in Taiyuan one. The museum is a provincial-level bronze museum in China. It exhibits more than 2,000 pieces of cultural relics, mainly from the precious cultural relics unearthed from archaeological excavations over the years and recovered from the public security organs' crackdown on cultural relic crimes in recent years. It gathers the essence of bronze cultural relics of the Jin Dynasty.
The exhibition area of ​​Shanxi Bronze Museum is 11,000 square meters. The basic display is themed with "Auspicious Jin Guanghua", which is divided into three parts: "Chinese imprint", "Ritual and Music Spring and Autumn Period" and "Model of Skills". Show the development history and brilliant achievements of China's Bronze Age. "Huaxia imprint" tells the special status of Jin culture in the inheritance and development of Chinese civilization; "Ritual and Music Spring and Autumn" explains the distinctive features of Chinese bronzes used as ritual vessels and the spiritual connotation of ritual and music civilization; light of wisdom. In addition, the exhibition areas of "Digital Bronze" and "Explore the Darkness and Victory" provide an in-depth experience of the mystery behind the bronze culture through digital display and educational interaction. It uses Shanxi cultural relics to describe Chinese bronze civilization, and reflects the important role of bronze civilization in the Chinese civilization system through the multi-dimensional perspective of cultural relics and the country, system and skills.
