Shengyou Temple is also known as the Lama Temple. It is called "Bogda Xiagesong" in Mongolian and "Jijinling" in Tibetan. It is located 1.5 kilometers northwest of Zhaosu County. It was built in Chahan in 1620. Wusun Township was later selected by the Mongolian left-wing Erut tribe many times, and in 1894, 80 skilled craftsmen including Li Zhaofu were invited from Beijing to build the temple at the expense of 100,000 taels of silver over four years. The architectural style of Shengyou Temple has the characteristics of the integration of Han culture and Tibetan Buddhist culture. The temple faces south from the north, and there are 8 existing buildings. At present, the temple holds four major events every year, among which the fifteenth day of the first lunar month is the grand occasion. In 2001, it was included in the fifth batch of national key cultural relics protection units, and it is a national 3A-level scenic spot.
