The main part of Shilang Lake Natural Scenic Area (Shilang Lake Forest Park) is located in Niubei Village, Didian Town, 40 kilometers south of Binxian County. It is a natural pool formed by landslides. The lake covers an area of 370 mu, with an average water depth of 13 meters and a depth of up to 18 meters. It has a total storage capacity of about 1.66 million cubic meters. It is the largest natural freshwater lake in Shaanxi and has the reputation of "Pearl of the Plateau". It can be described as "a clear water, surrounded by green mountains, elegant environment and charming scenery". It is a resort for fishing, summer vacation, leisure and entertainment, and a good place for ecotourism.
