Overview of Shidu

Shidu is the collective name of the entire river valley. It originally referred to the ten ferry crossings on the river valley. Now there are 18 villages along the river from east to west from one to eighteen villages, which are still collectively called Shidu. Every crossing has beautiful scenery of mountains and rivers to watch and play. The main scenic spots that have been developed into scenic spots in Shidu include Gushanzhai scenic spot in Liudu, Donggang Lake scenic spot in Shidudu, and Juma Paradise in Shidu. The transportation within Shidu is convenient, and there are buses that go directly to each tourist site. You can take the bus to visit one by one, or you can come here by car.

How to play

It takes about two days to visit Shidu. On the first day, visit Gushanzhai Scenic Area, then go to Shidu Juma River Paradise to experience rafting entertainment, and on the second day, visit Donghu Port Scenic Area. It is advisable to choose a farmhouse near Shidu for accommodation. It is most comfortable to arrive here the night before the tour, and you will have plenty of time the next day. If you have more time, you can continue westward to the famous Yesanpo scenic spot in Hebei.

Gushanzhai

Gushanzhai Scenic Spot is located on the opposite bank of Liudu Village. It is a grand canyon about 10 kilometers long. It is mainly for viewing the landscape of strange peaks and rocks. There is the largest waterfall group in Beijing in the mountains, and there is also a cable suspension bridge tens of meters long, which is very exciting to walk on.

Donghu Port

Donghugang Scenic Area is famous for its many waterfalls and ponds. The three-fold waterfall here has a drop of more than 100 meters, which is very spectacular. In addition, there are also many strange peaks and cliffs in the East Lake Port Scenic Area, such as Husband and Wife Peak, Chang'e with Jinchan, etc. The ladder built on the rock wall is even steeper and dangerous, and the view is very wide after climbing. The most interesting thing in the scenic area should be the content of playing in the water. Juma Paradise

Shidu Juma Paradise is an amusement-based attraction. There are mechanical items such as trapeze, disco turntable, etc., as well as water-based entertainment items such as speedboats and water unicycles. You can also experience bungee jumping by the river. The brave can go to challenge.

There are many lodging places in Shidu Scenic Area, and there are many in each ferry. They are basically local farmhouses. It is recommended to live near Shidu Village. The transportation is the most convenient, and the farmhouses near Shidu Village are also more affordable. Tourists rated it very well.
When visiting the Shidu Scenic Area, most of the meals are in the nearby farmhouse, where you can eat authentic farmhouse dishes. Also, the local trout is very famous, don't forget to taste it.
