The Shifo Cave site is located on the bank of the Xiaohei River 25 kilometers south of Gengma County, Lincang City. It is a cultural site of the Neolithic Age and was formed by the natural movement of the earth's crust.
The whole cave of Shifo Cave Ruins is tall, open and magnificent. In 1983, according to archaeological findings, there were Neolithic stone axes, stone sticks, pottery, bay leaves and two "Bay-leaf Scriptures" in the cave. One of the stone tools was a symbol of power at that time, which was really rare. It is said that worshipers here respond to their requests, which is very effective. Therefore, Shifo Cave has become a holy place for many Buddhist believers to worship.
