Shimen Forest Park is located in Xunyi County, 140 kilometers north of Xianyang City. Located at the southern end of Meridian Ridge, it covers an area of 8856 hectares. The scenic spot has many peaks and ridges, exotic flowers and plants, condensed colors and emerald greens, rich ornamental plants, various types of trees, animals and birds, and beautiful scenery. There are more than 1,250 kinds of plants, more than 300 kinds of Chinese herbal medicines, among which the precious ones are Cordyceps sinensis, Angelica, Codonopsis, Polygonum multiflorum, etc., and more than 100 kinds of rare birds and animals, among which the national first-class protected animals include leopards, golden eagles, black storks, white cranes, etc. Make the park a veritable "Kingdom of Animals and Plants" on the Loess Plateau.

Shimenshan Forest Park has four scenic spots and more than 80 scenic spots. At present, two major scenic spots, Taohuachuan and Shimenguan, are being developed, with more than 30 scenic spots, including Shimen Xiongguan, Fusu Temple, Qin Zhidao, Qin Bing Station, Beacon Tower, Mapuan Spring, Guliu Yunsong, Jiangnvyuan Shengmu Temple, etc. Attractions are more distinctive.

Shimenshan Forest Park has beautiful natural scenery and rich cultural landscape. It is known as Xishuangbanna on the Weibei Plateau and the back garden of Xianyang, Xi'an.
