Mount Shishapangma is located in the middle of the Himalayas in Nyalam County, Shigatse City, with an altitude of about 8,012 meters. It ranks 14th among the 14 8,000-meter-level peaks in the world. It is an 8,000-meter-level mountain that is completely in China. The criss-crossing ice and snow cracks and the occasional huge ice avalanche set up many difficulties for climbers.
The climate characteristics of Mount Shishapangma are generally similar to those of Mount Everest. It consists of three sister peaks with similar heights. There are two peaks of nearly 8,000 meters at about 200 meters and 400 meters northwest of the main peak. The north slope faces Yebokangale Glacier, and Daqu Glacier is parallel to it. To the east of the North Ridge is the Geya Glacier, and on the south slope there is the Fuqu Glacier, whose end falls to the shrub belt at 4,550 meters. What is fascinating is the ice tower area between 5000-5800 meters above sea level, several kilometers long, with a very strange scene shape, just like a living "ice crystal garden".
