Shuanglang Town is located on the northeast coast of Erhai Lake, northeast of Dali City, close to the rippling Erhai Lake, and can overlook the nineteen peaks of Cangshan Mountain. It gathers the essence of Cangerhai scenery in one place. On a sunny day, the sun shines through the clouds and refracts on the lake, with the rolling Cangshan Mountains as the background. It is the shot that photographers most want to capture.

Shuanglang Aspect

The main attractions of Shuanglang Town are two islands: Yuji Island and Nanzhao Customs Island. Yuji Island is actually a peninsula, which belongs to Shuanglang Town, and can be walked there. Going to the island sometimes requires you to buy tickets (you generally don’t need to buy tickets if you stay on the island), but basically no one is watching after early morning or evening. It’s very pleasant to watch the sunset on the island. There are local fishermen rowing boats on the shore to solicit business. You can take a fishing boat for a circle in the Erhai Lake, but it won't take long, and you won't row too far. Nanzhao Customs Island is located in the south of Yuji Island. It takes 5 minutes to take a boat to the island from the cruise terminal at the southern end of Shuanglang Town. The Erhai Lake cruise ship will also stop at this island.

To play Shuanglang, it is recommended to stay here for one night. In the evening, boating on the lake, watching the lights and shadows, has a special flavor. Eat local snacks and barbecue in the town, go to the bar to get a little drunk, and fall asleep in the gentle sound of the waves.
