Shangshan Sihao Stele Forest Garden is located in the west section of Shangzhen New Street, 7.5 kilometers west of Danfeng County, Shangluo. It is a provincial key cultural relics protection unit. In the park, giant mounds are lined up, surrounded by ancient cypresses, and there are many steles.

Four doctors from the Qin Dynasty more than 2,000 years ago are buried in the Sihao Forest of Steles in Shangshan, namely: Zhou Shu, Wu Shi, Cui Guang, and Yan Bing. The four elders all live in seclusion in Shangshan because of their noble conduct, silver beards and bright heads, avoiding Qin burning books and burying Confucianism. They are known as "Shangnan Sihao". They lived a poor life of eating Shangzhi and living in caves. They once wrote the famous "Caizhi Exercise", which was passed down to later generations. Later, because of his meritorious service in Kuangding the Han Dynasty, he refused to be enfeoffed, and still lived in seclusion in Shangshan. After his death, Emperor Xiaohui of the Han Dynasty personally erected a monument "Civilian officials dismount from their sedan chairs, and military commanders dismount from their horses", and ordered all officials to visit the tomb at four o'clock to show respect. Up to now, in the area of Longju, Shangzhou, folks still perform lantern dances of the "Four Witches" (four daughters of Sihao) who sing Sihao's "Stories" and "Shehuo" during the Spring Festival.

Humanities poets of past dynasties have left more than a hundred poems (firsts) in Shangshan, praising the four gentlemen for their high morals and moral integrity. "Passing the Tomb of Sihao" by Li Bai, a great poet of the Tang Dynasty, and "Visiting the Temple of Sihao" by Bai Juyi are even more popular and have been passed down through the ages. The Sihao Forest of Steles has now been built, with 50 steles erected. The poems praised by Mr. Sihao are selected from the literati of the past dynasties, and the famous contemporary calligraphers Shen Peng, Zhang Biao, Liu Yi, Zhong Mingshan and cultural celebrities Jia Pingwa are invited to write poems on the wall. Ancient poetry and prose are integrated with historical relics, calligraphy and sculpture art.
